  One of the stops on our beer and food tasting tour, Il Panzerotto is where I learned about panzerotti. It's similar to a calzone but smaller and hand-held. Made to order, we met the owners and sat in the small joint for a while to enjoy our food.
  
  Neat little spot that is perfect for a break from a night of drinking. You know how we tend to hit up a Waffle House after a bunch of alcohol? Well, this is the Italian equivalent. No, it's not a waffle in case you're thinking. Fatty, greasy, cheesy delicious. A bunch of cheese and tomato sauce wrapped in dough and fried. They'll make it spicy, too.
  
  And if you need a beer to go with it, then they can help you with a few bottled beers and also some sodas/waters in their cooler.

  Maybe my expectations were too high because Milan isn't known for panzerotti and I've had them in Puglia, but...it says on the sign out front that the panzerotti are fried when you order, but instead they are just heated up in a grill.
  
  The taste is pretty good, but nothing exceptional and I felt like the panzerotto was  too small.
